Club Night – Intro to Cyclocross
October 5 @ 8:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Scott Heyhoe will be giving an “Introduction to Cyclocross” talk. This could be good timing for anyone thinking of taking the plunge into cyclocross in the forthcoming CX season, or just for anyone curious about the subject.
Cyclo-cross is all about riding your bike around a cross-country course. Most courses are 99% rideable, with just a tiny amount of running or carrying your bike. And you can ride on a mountain bike, a gravel bike or a cyclo-cross bike. What’s more, there are races all the way from under-8s to over-50s, male and female. You can just ride round or you can race, and there is no pressure either way. The venues are very spectator-friendly, with lots of free parking.
Come and learn why cyclo-cross is the fastest-growing discipline in cycling, how to get started and how to have fun.
Belgian beer, frites and soft drinks provided.
Club night is held at All Saints Church Hall, Chapel Lane, Farnborough GU14 9BW, starting at 8:30pm.
