The FCCC Hill Climb Championships take place at 10.00am on Saturday 5 September on the 1 Mile HHC018a course (follow this link for the course map https://www.plotaroute.com/route/3203700), starting at the junction of Church Lane, Howards Lane and Brockham Hill Lane in Holybourne.
Please note that the course has been modified by our local CTT District, London West, and this new course of HHC018a finishes around 60m shorter than the old HHC018 – just before the cottage, rather than at the cottage. This is due to another club somehow upsetting the residents of the cottage when they used the old course.
Club trophies are available for the fastest member, the fastest female member, the fastest junior member and the fastest veteran member.
As per usual the club TT is open to members and non-members but only FCCC First Claim members will be eligible for the trophies. It is the rider’s responsibility to check that they have a First Claim (senior/family/under-18) membership if they want to be eligible for a trophy, as opposed to Second Claim membership.
Entrance is free to club members and £5 to non-members (payable at sign-on).
Sign-on is from 20 minutes prior to the start time and will close 5 minutes prior to the start time.
Riders are encouraged to park away from the start and then ride up to the start area.
Helmets, front lights and rear lights are now compulsory to participate in any TT event – make sure you have them all or you will not be able to ride.
CTT REGULATION 14(g) and 14(h): No competitor shall be permitted to start either a Type A or Type B event unless such competitor has affixed to their machine a working front white light and rear red light, either flashing or constant, that is illuminated and in a position that is clearly visible to other road users.
There is no pushing-off.
