The next Club TT is on the downhill-fast-starting 10 mile HCC175 course (follow this link for the course map https://www.plotaroute.com/route/265288), starting in Redlands Lane at Ewshot, on 8 May 2025 at 19:00.
HOWEVER – Right now there are temporary traffic lights scheduled both to be on this course and on the backup course of HCC216a on Thursday. Now roadworks can often disappear or appear at short notice, so we will be keeping an eye on this situation. So please do keep an even closer eye than usual for announcements for Thursday’s event, for example we may switch to the backup course or it may be that we have to cancel this week’s event – or it may simply go ahead as planned if the roadworks gods smile on us.
Club TT events are open to all.
Entrance is free to club members and £5 to non-members (payable at sign-on).
You are asked to park and then ride up to the start area. THERE IS VERY LIMITED SPACE AT THE START AREA SO PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN IN REDLANDS LANE AND DO NOT OBSTRUCT THE ROAD OR RESIDENTS’ DRIVEWAYS.
The best place to park is Bowenhurst Lane adjacent to the BP Service Station just before the finish line – PLEASE RETURN HERE AFTER YOU HAVE FINISHED TO RETURN YOUR RACE NUMBER.
Sign-on is from 20 minutes prior to the start time and will close 5 minutes prior to the start time.
Helmets, front lights and rear lights are now compulsory to participate in any TT event – make sure you have them all or you will not be able to ride.
CTT REGULATION 14(i) and 14(j): No competitor shall be permitted to start either a Type A or Type B event unless such competitor has affixed to their machine a working front white light and rear red light, either flashing or constant, that is illuminated and in a position that is clearly visible to other road users.
There is no pushing-off.
