At the AGM in February, most club committee members are likely to be available for reelection should members wish. There are however three open positions on the committee in 2012 as follows:
General secretary - prepare agendas, write minutes and track actions for committee meetings (typically 5 or 6 a year). Prepare and circulate documentation for the AGM and write minutes.
Trophy secretary - list trophy winners; manage engraving of trophies as presented at the annual dinner, and collect trophies from previous recipients prior to the presentation.
Social secretary - plan and arrange social events including the Annual Dinner and themed club evenings.
