Jane has just taken over as Press Officer of the club. Here's her first article:
"We will be looking to have a press report published on a regular basis in the local newspapers. I will also be contacting cycling magazines with any interesting news from our club. This will promote the club and hopefully encourage members to get involved in events and racing.
This is not limited to race winners and champions - I'd like to hear about any bike related activity members take part in.........have you entered any sportives, audax,track, MTB, TRI, charity rides? How are your efforts doing in time trial or road racing? Have you competed abroad? Has cycling changed your life in any way?
Could members please email me with details of their cycling endeavours? Take a camera along to your event and send me a picture!
Also, please let me know if you see any coverage of the club in any papers or media."
