FREE British Cycling Ride Leaders Course 12th & 13th June
Hello Everyone, On the weekend of June 12th & 13th we are running a British Cycling Level 2 Ride Leaders Course at Samuel Cody School, Farnborough. The two-day course is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to conduct led rides and promote cycling opportunities to new and returning cyclists - see attached information. The aim is to have a pool of people who can help to lead occasional rides in the Rushmoor and North Hants area.
We have 10 free places available on the British Cycling Level 2 Ride Leaders Course on Saturday 12 & 13th June and the required Emergency First Aid Course being held on Saturday 19th June. These course would normally cost £200 in total.You need to be a confident experienced cyclist and will need to bring your bike on the course, minimum age 18 years old.In return for a free place we are asking for a minimum commitment of 20 hours over the first year, this is equivalent to 3x 6.5 hr days or 10 x 2hr sessions.Please let me know if you would like to become Ride Leader and circulate to anyone else who may be interested. Schools - can you circulate on parent mail please.
