FCCC is now affiliated to the CTC. Initially, FCCC members are paying £20 each - a huge saving as full membership is £39. The club is investing to get this scheme up and running, and hopefully more members will sign up during the next year to enable us to reduce the annual cost even further. Please contact Alan if you are interested in joining the scheme.
The discussion on the forums identified that the main benefit of affiliate membership is third-party insurance - but additional benefits include the CTC email newsletter and various discounts including a major online bike shop. For completeness, please note that you DON'T get the following CTC benefits through affiliated membership - the paper magazine, access to the members area on their website or access to CTC’s legal, touring and technical helplines.
