CTC affiliation - membership and third-party insurance benefits for members.

FCCC is affiliated to the CTC.

FCCC members pay only £16 for CTC affiliate membership - a huge saving as full membership is £41. The club has invested to get this scheme up and running, and hopefully more members will sign up during the next year. Details of how to join are in the members forums. Benefits of affiliate membership include third-party insurance, the CTC email newsletter, free cycling-related legal advice and various discounts including the CTC shop, which is basically a 12% discount on the Wiggle site.

For completeness, please note that you don't get the following CTC benefits through affiliated membership - the paper magazine, access to the members area / forums on their website or access to CTC’s other legal, touring and technical helplines. Bike insurance is not included in either standard or affiliated CTC membership.

Discounts on energy drinks and other nutrition products

Members of the club can obtain big discounts (30% or more on top brands) on sports drinks, gels, recovery drinks, energy bars etc.. Some of our members save two or three times the cost of membership on this alone! Prices and details of how the order process works can be found in the members-only forums.
