Club offer to help fund British Cycling coaching qualification
Coaching is a vital part of a successful sports club, and we would like to assist club members who are experienced cyclists and who wish to gain British Cycling coaching qualifications. The BC Level 2 qualification is for those who are new to coaching - the cost is £395, and in addition those without current First Aid qualifications will need to attend an additional course which costs £80. There may also be a cost of £44 for an enhanced CRB check for those who wish to coach children or vulnerable adults. The club would like to offer members reimbursement of 50% of these costs in return for a commitment to support and coach FCCC members and groups at all levels, from beginners and improvers through to competition. See the BC website for more details. Please contact Nigel Fletcher in the first instance if you are interested.
The club has a number of qualified coaches that are happy to help members to develop to their best potential. The club also has a Technogym that can be used for fitness testing.
